I have owned the smaller Wild River tackle backpack for several years. I purchased this second one in mossy oak camo color and will be using it to carry a downsized version of tackle when I fish the smaller ponds and lakes from shore. There is plenty of room to carry a variety of lures and tackle for bass, crappie, bluegill, and walleye. Plus it provides easy access for tools for hook removal, small tools, and a place for the polarized sunglasses.
Four side pockets hold small containers for hooks, sinkers, lindy rigs, and pre-setup leaders. I can get ( 5 ) PT3500 storage containers in the bottom section. The top holds a smaller double sided storage box with various types of jigs, first aid kit, hand towel, bug spray, sun screen, and other odds and ends. And the very top stores a rain cover for the entire bag.
The backpack carries all the tackle and tools, which leaves the hands free to carry 2-3 rods setup all ready to go, and maybe a small cooler or bucket in the other hand.
My other Wild River Tackle Backpack is setup in a similar manner but contains some slightly different tackle and used when doing kayak fishing.
