Skandia blind rivet, also called pop rivet, is a means of joining two pieces of sheet material together if the material is only accessible from one side. The blind rivet consists of a sleeve with or without head of, for example, aluminum and a steel pulling pin with a convex head, which is pulled into the sleeve with the aid of blind rivet pliers. This causes the sleeve to expand and clamp itself in the two pieces of sheet material. When there is sufficient pulling force, the pulling pin breaks off automatically. Specifications:
