Long hacksaw blades (250 – 300 mm) fit in this plastic Skandia hacksaw blade holder, also called hacksaw bracket, hacksaw holder, mini hacksaw or flex saw bracket. Old or partially broken metal saw blades also fit in here, so that they can still be used. Place the saw blade far outside the handle, then due to the flexibility of the metal saw blade an object can be sawn off or through, for example, close to a wall. Place the hacksaw blade a little shorter in the handle, then it can be used as a kind of jig saw to, for example, make (socket) holes in drywall.
