The HBM Professional 4 Liter Vibrating Polishing Drum is ideal for polishing, deburring and cleaning parts. With this tumbler you can perform delicate polishing, depending on the coarseness of the medium you are using. The bowl is made of heavy polymer and has a diameter of approximately 25 cm. The tumbler can hold up to 8 kg of media and is suitable for parts up to approximately 18 cm in length. The tumbler is supplied without media, but you can use, for example, corundum, glass pearl or ground walnut shell.

Er wordt beweerd dat deze vibrerende polijsttrommel veel sneller zou werken dan zo'n ronddraaiende trommel. Helaas zie ik dat niet. De trilling is veel minder dan gedacht. Daardoor is de beweging van te polijsten voorwerpen heel traag of zelfs helemaal niet. Verschillende polijstmedia getest, nat, droog, en verschillende maten van vulling. Keer op keer was het resultaat teleurstellend. Op internet zijn video's te zien van dit soort trommels die het geweldig doen. Vergeleken bij die lijkt deze trommel in slaap te zijn gevallen. Jammer, had er veel meer van verwacht.
